Tri-ActiV8 on top at Hervey Bay 100

Hervey Bay 100

Hervey Bay 100 is one of Australia’s premier long course triathlons and a favourite event for a number of our Tri-ActiV8 tribe. Eight Tri-ActiV8 triathletes competed in this year’s long course with 5 of them nailing a podium finish.

The Course

Swim 2km - Ride 80km - Run 18km

Our triathletes were all smiles as they hit the finish line. The weather was spectacular, deliver a flat swim for competitors. The bike leg started smooth with the wind picking up on the last two laps. Our athletes finished strong for the 18km run.

The youngest competitor on the course was our Tri-ActiV8 tribe member Jared. At just 17 years of age, Jared completed his first Hervey Bay 100 triathlon. Congratulations Jared!

The Results

Our coaches couldn’t be more proud of our Tribe. Congratulations to all of our Tri-ActiV8 competitors, you are all amazing!

  • 25-29yrs Demi - 2nd (6th Female Overall)

  • 40-44yrs Jane - 3rd
