COMPETITOR INFORMATION

  • Sign in and bib collection starts from 5.00pm at the FINISH/START Line located at Campsites 2 & 3. Runners can set up their recover/feed stations within the area. Groups of 6 or more can set-up a 3X3M tent - email info@tri-activ8.com.au to request. Race course briefing will be held 5-10min prior to the first lap.  All competitors will start together.

The race start is self-seeded and we advise the faster runners to position themselves at the front and slower runners at the back. This will help to prevent bottlenecks along the trail and faster runners becoming stuck behind slower runners.

  • ALL runners to be self-sufficient.

This is both on and off-course. Lights will be mandatory whilst on course. Electricity is not available, we recommend the use of Power Banks to recharge lights during rest periods.

  • Runners will not be timed until the last lap. It is a requirement for the 6 & 12 Lap runners to meet the cut-off of 1 hour for each lap and start again on the next hour.

Top 3 Male & Female for each distance are awarded at the end of each event.

Top 3 junior boys and girls (short distance only) are awarded at 7.00pm.

  • Presentation will be held as follows:

    7.00pm - 1 Lap Runners

    12.00am - 6 Lap Runners

    6.00am - 12 Lap Runners

  • Bring sufficient water and nutrition for the entire duration of your run for what you require.

Each competitor is responsible for their own nutrition requirements.

We recommend bringing a chair and esky for the duration of the event to top up your supplies and rest between the finish and start of each lap.

  • Toilets are available at the entrance to the Park. Runners will pass by these at least once each lap.

  • The trails may include sections of challenging and remote single track, be sure to exercise caution on these sections.

If you DO NOT FINISH the race you must see an event official prior to leaving. If you do not report to an event official and a search party is sent out, this will be at the competitor’s cost. It may be hot so please take precautions to stay safe in the heat.

Timinig chips that are not returned will incur a direct fee of $50.00 payable by the competitor responsible for returning this to race officials.
